The last thing I canceled when the corona virus hit was my ski trip to the rockies and the last thing I just canceld was a quick trip to Dever to get out of the heat. Is it too early to start planning for the Hunting Season?
I don't think there is a state that I have visited more that Colorado over the course of my life. Snow skiing trips account for many of those trips, with several trips a year back in yesteryears. But skiing is only part of the amazing amount of outdoor activates available for those seeking adventure. We have made several elk hunting trips over the years to the Route National Forrest near Steamboat that are more camping and hiking trips than hunting trips.
In recent years we have been heading to Colorado in the summer when the kids get out of school. It’s a great time to escape the heat of our Gulf Coast home base and there is more family friendly activities for those that don’t ski. River Rafting, Concerts at Red Rocks, Baseball in Denver, day trips into the mountains, the Steam Train in Silverton, and one really cool museum the kids even loved are some of the fun things we got to do on our last trip.
